Lizzie Burns is the designer behind London based Eaburns. She has, with her handcrafted jewelleries in leather, become a favourite at Shop 172. The artworks continue to impress when the fall collection, along with the dusk, arrives at Brick Lane. Our shelves, otherwise covered by autumn darkness, are now lit up by diamonds in colours of the rainbow.

Urte Karalaite's neckpieces and bracelets are spread out in Shop 172 like bits of sugar. Tear Clear is the name of her overall white collection. It is clear that tear is something Urte Karalaite knows how to do. Unlike many jewellery designers she value silhouettes above details. Like the distance to a theatre costume gives an illusion of perfection Karalaite is interested in the impression of the rough and imperfect. Building assocciations to flower crowns and clown collars her work do have that particular effect. Having that said, a closer look at these rustic jewelleries made of bed sheets and curtains, tied and knotted together on chains, will make them even more interesting. Check this intelligent and skilled craftwork up.
