Winter has come and with the windows full of yarn tassels and woolen mittens, Shop 172 would like to recommend some wrapping for frosty nights.
It's always a pleasure to receive garments from Andrea Crews. The French art collective, led by Maroussi Rebecq, experiments not only with fashion but also with performance, film and political activism. The spectacular winter collection is called “Les Morts Vivants de la Mode” (The Living Dead of Fashion). It contains, besides silk scarfs with Michael Jackson motives and undead velvet T-shirts also fluffy snow ball hoods to protect against cold winds and jogging suits merged with traditional Norwegian knitwear, great for mulled wine drinking and Sunday flower shopping.
Like a bizarre collage this experimental, unique and fun collection mixes everything. We wish your body and heart a warm and cheerful winter. Welcome to Shop 172.

Christine Elise Cologne Berger-Aziz is the name of the German designer behind the brand Borne. Straight, almost masculine lines are, in this brand's partiqular way, balanced by traditionally feminine details, but in spite of layers of ruffles and high-buttoned collars, this autumn collection has built up its attitude. The delicate materials are well used in this season's braver silhouettes and distinctive detail work.
The luxury that Borne stands for is not material but about quality of life. In all its simplicity the garments manage to convey the value of wearable fashion and unexpectedly a vicinity to nature. The combination of elegance in the thin, green silk and the comfort in the finest jersey makes us want to take a walk in the mild autumn to see what we can find in the rain-soaked grass.
