Winter skin - Monolik

Monolik don’t like colour. The reason to that is unknown but what can be easier to wear this winter than black. The new collection is called ”Skins” and that is how we wear it.
Neonethy has her background in Seoul, South Korea where she is known as a musician and a DJ. Her fashion label Monolik was founded last year and is now based in Tokyo. As a designer Neonethy find her inspiration in independent underground cultures and unisex fashion connected to the rock n’roll scene as much as techno.
Monolik refers to monochrome and as the name suggests the garments merge together by the colour black. As nothing brought from music is characterless. Each garment has its own identity with drapes and textures but Monoliks garments are of the sort you can use any day and to anything. This is how you use it, you wear it like a skin.
